Here, you share your dormitory and your meal with friends, travellers passing through, hikers and mountaineers on their day off,

This typical high Savoy chalet and comfortable has kept its mountain "soul" from the air. It is located on the mount hillside of the village of Contamines, opposite the Miage Domes. You will spend a quiet stay in a neat environment.
Ideally placed on the Tour du Mont Blanc and the GR5, it is a relaxing stage before the steep climb to the Col du Bonhomme. It is also a dream base camp for the ascent of the Domes of Miage and Mont Blanc.
In winter, its proximity to the Contamines ski area will satisfy skiers of all levels, as well as ski enthusiasts.

Welcome to the Club Alpin Francais Chalet Refuge Des Contamines
The chalet can sleep up to 20 people, divided into dormitories (8 and 12 beds respectively)
The dormitories are equipped with quilts and pillows.
The chalet is not equipped with a communal kitchen.
Evening meals are served at 7pm

L'actualité des refuges FFCAMEn juin 2024, des crues torrentielles ont ravagé le village de la Bérarde et rendu impossible l'accès à la vallée du Vénéon. Au-delà des très importants dégâts matériels, cette catastrophe a durablement et profondément impacté l'activité locale et touristique du territoire. Pour soutenir et participer à la relance de l'activité du territoire, la FFCAM a décidé de maintenir son projet de rénovation du refuge de la Lavey, nécessaire en raison de la vétusté du bâtiment : en faisant un don pour ce refuge, vous participez à la revitalisation de la vallée et à la préservation de ces patrimoines montagnards d'exception que sont les refuges de montagne. Bénéficiez d'une réduction d'impôt égale à 66 % du montant de votre don (dans la limite de 20 % de votre revenu imposable) : un don de 100€ ne vous coûtera que 34€ après réduction fiscale. |
