*If you need to hire skis or snowshoes, Mermoud Sports (Au Virage) is at the bend 100 metres from the chalet.

*From the cable car "Notre Dame de la Gorge" ticket office, you can buy a lift ticket "randonneur" which lets you go up on the lift to the summit of the Buche Croisée, enabling you to access the Col de la Fenêtre, Col de la Cicle, Col des Chasseurs or to the Rochers d'Enclave.

The chalet is also an ideal starting point to do some high mountain ski tours like Dômes de Miage, Mont Tondu, Aiguilles de Tre la Tête...
The CAF refuge "des Conscrits" is accessible in 5 hours starting from the chalet. The new path allows reaching the refuge without walking on the glacier. So, the walkers will be able to discover this exceptional site and meet Christine, the hut warden.
